What The CAA Publishes
The Canadian Authors Association produces several publications.
National Newsline - The Canadian Writer's Guide - Other Publications - About Advertising
National Newsline
The National Newsline (ISSN 0833-8558) is the official newsletter of the Canadian Authors Association and the primary method of contact with our membership. Starting with the July 2010 issue, it is produced only in an electronic edition:
- The electronic edition is available to our members.

Electronic Delivery Only
Beginning with the July 2010 issue, the National Newsline went electronic.
That change, of course, significantly reduced our dependence on paper and brought us in line with modern technological practices.
No Light Edition Available
The light edition is no longer published because it was based upon the print edition.
However, you can still view the January 2010 issue (PDF - 110k).
Advertising in National Newsline
National Newsline offers advertising, an opportunity to reach our members and others with your message.
None of our other publications nor this Website allow advertising.
The Canadian Writer's Guide
The Canadian Writer's Guide (Fitzhenry & Whiteside—ISBN 1-55041-740-1) is the most comprehensive writer's reference available to Canadian writers today.
It includes valuable insight and advice from professional writers from the United States, Europe, Australia and across Canada, including over 130 new and updated "how-to" articles.
